Ithink that this album was ALMOST really good, there are a lot of songs here I like and I think it's kinda overhated as a whole...but good god the middle of this album is the worst thing he ever put out.

I'm just gonna say it, Big Weenie, Puke, Ass Like That, My 1st Single, Rain Man and Just Lose It (which I didn't really mind on it's own but god put right after those other songs it's awful) are worse than every song on Revival, these 6 songs are enough to lower my rating by 20+ points, they ... read more

Holy shit this album sucked. I almost didn't know what to put for yhe lyric because I totally forgot that "Mockingbird" and "Like Toy Soilders" were on this dumpster fire. I don't know what happened to Marshal between 2002 and 2004, but whatever it is gotta be the most traumatic thing ever. Because he dropped an amazing album, one of the best rap albums ever, and then, this? Really? Did he die and get replaced by someone that just talks in a weird voice? ... read more

I was excited to see what Nem would do after his awesome 3 album run with SSLP, MMLP and The Eminem Show. I never really heard fans of Nem talk much about his other albums apart from those 3, so I was curious why they kinda just ignored those other albums of his... Jesus fucking Crist this was not a good intro to his back catalog.

I am serious, I don't have any problem with Eminem as a rapper. I just think his old album sucks ass. And people who defend these albums didn't listen to them that much to realize how awful they are.

This album is worse than Revival. There, I said it. With that album, it is at least apparant that Marshall is rapping about some topics that actually work as songs, like police brutality (Untouchable), coming to grips with his public image (Walk on Water, Castle), and his issues with the government at the time (Like ... read more

Tell me, who let this man cook???

This album's fucking outrageous!!

Who thought it was a good idea to let Em rap about bullshit, include fart, puke and shitting sounds??

And just for good measure, they put in a couple of songs that sound like throwaways from "The Eminem Show"

I don't think there's a single sane person, that would unironically like this album, i hope.

If you love this piece of crap, seek help.

There are people who would have you believe that this album actually has one or two songs that hold up as some of the best Eminem has written. Some of these examples would be Like Toy Soldiers and Mockingbird. Despite what people would have you believe, these songs are trashy compared to much of what came in his previous albums. ... read more

It's not her fault, she didn't recommend this specific album or anything. But I'd already heard the albums before Encore. And I was kinda optimistic ngl; I've listened to Like Toy Soldiers, I've listened to Mockingbird, I love both of those tracks, and I ... read more

Does anyone have that one clip of Markiplier where he's like "God, I was doing great! I was doing fuckin' fantastic! What happened!?" I think it's from one of his try not to laugh videos. Anyway, I'm trying to find that clip so I can link to it and say "Eminem when he goes back and relistens to his old discography and he gets to Encore"

Even as I begin this review I don't know if this album will rank higher than Revival number wise, but I'll tell you this much. Revival felt purposeful, even if it was HEAVILY flawed and featured abysmal production. This is just fucking embarrassing. There's no redeeming qualities, it's just sad.

Yellow Brick Road, Like Toy Soldiers and Mockingbird are definitely tracks worth putting on your Best of Eminem playlist, Mosh doesn't really get me too empowered but it at least shows Em being ... read more

i realised i don't have a lot of negative of reviews , so we're balancing it a bit with this one .

if houdini reminded some people of the slim shady lp , it reminded me of this album and that's never a good thing , i like eminem , he is one of the most successful rappers for a reason , but this is one of those albums that makes you question his status , listening to this feels like i'm being trolled for an hour and 20 minutes .

where to start , eminem has some of the most annoying performances ... read more

Eminem's 'Encore,' released in 2004, is an album that stirs mixed emotions and reactions. While it showcases Eminem's undoubted talent and unique style, it also reflects a tumultuous period in his career, resulting in a project that feels uneven at times.

Encore is the fourth studio album from Eminem, and I can say that the large majority of this had some really poorly aged humor right out of the gate, but still it has its highlights. The first 5 tracks of this thing are a pretty strong start and you better be grateful for having them before tracks 7-14. Some of the instrumentation here really satisfies my nerdy sound design self, it ... read more
