QTip Kamaal The Abstract Unreleased Full Album Zip

Kamaal The Abstract is the third solo album by American rapper and producer Q-Tip, who is best known as the leader of A Tribe Called Quest. The album was originally recorded in 2001, but was shelved by his label Arista Records, who deemed it too experimental and uncommercial. The album was finally released in 2009, after Q-Tip signed with Universal Motown Records.

The album showcases Q-Tip's versatility as an artist, blending hip-hop, jazz, funk, rock, and soul influences. The album features guest appearances from Norah Jones, D'Angelo, Raphael Saadiq, and others. The album received critical acclaim from music critics, who praised Q-Tip's creativity and musicality. The album also spawned two singles: "Work It Out" and "Barely in Love".

However, some fans of Q-Tip and A Tribe Called Quest were disappointed by the album's departure from the traditional boom bap sound of his previous works. Some also wondered what the original version of the album sounded like, before it was reworked and remastered for its 2009 release. Fortunately, some of the unreleased tracks from the 2001 sessions have leaked online, and are available for download as a zip file.

The unreleased version of Kamaal The Abstract features 12 tracks, some of which are different versions or mixes of the songs that appeared on the official release. Some of the notable differences are:

    • The track "Feelin'" features a sample of Stevie Wonder's "Too High", which was later replaced by a live band.
    • The track "Do U Dig U?" features a rap verse from Q-Tip, which was later removed and replaced by a spoken word poem by Kenny Garrett.
    • The track "Heels" features a guest appearance from Andre 3000 of Outkast, who raps alongside Q-Tip.
    • The track "Blue Girl" features a sample of Joni Mitchell's "Blue", which was later replaced by a live guitar.
    • The track "Abstractionisms" features a rap verse from Mos Def, who also co-produced the track with Q-Tip.

The unreleased version of Kamaal The Abstract is a rare gem for fans of Q-Tip and alternative hip-hop. It showcases Q-Tip's artistic vision and musical evolution, as well as his collaboration with some of the most talented musicians in the industry. The zip file can be downloaded from various sources online , but be warned that the sound quality may vary depending on the source.
