"...וַיָּבֹאוּ בֵּית אִשָּׁה זוֹנָה וּשְׁמָהּ רָחָב וַיִּשְׁכְּבוּ שָׁמָּה:" (יהושע פרק ב' פסוק א').

רש"י: "אִשָּׁה זוֹנָה תִּירְגֵּם יְהוֹנָתָן: פּוּנְדְּקִיתָא, מוֹכֶרֶת מִינֵי מְזוֹנוֹת"
זהו אחד פירושי רש"י הקשים יותר להבנה והנתונים במחלוקת.

האם רש"י מבין שרחב היתה מוכרת מזון?  האם "פונדקיתא" היא "פונדקאית" (Innkeeper)?

האם רחב אכן עסקה במה שנקרא "המקצוע העתיק בעולם"? אולי גם וגם?
