Hi All.. I am from Medford and I am in the process of importing an ex-military Defender. Hope to have it next week. It is in the port in Tacoma clearing customs.

Hello Jim.  Good luck with your new Defender and getting it sorted out.   I am not yet an active member, but one who is hopeful to go out on some back country drives with other  Land Rover drivers. We have a 71 109 , and are out of Crescent City.   Pat Quivey

It took some work but successfully got it imported. Picked it up in Tacoma a few weeks back.

You are one lucky guy. I doubt a more solid Rover has been made than those. I'm also curious what the interior is like. Hope we get to share a trail some day.
