AnIdentity Protection PIN (IP PIN) is a six-digit number that prevents someone else from filing a tax return using your Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). The IP PIN is known only to you and the IRS. It helps us verify your identity when you file your electronic or paper tax return. Even though you may not have a filing requirement, an IP PIN still protects your account.
If you don't already have an IP PIN, you may get an IP PIN as a proactive step to protect yourself from tax-related identity theft. Anyone with an SSN or an ITIN can get an IP PIN including individuals living abroad.
We will use the telephone number provided on the Form 15227 to call you and validate your identity. Once we verify your identity, you will receive your IP PIN via the U.S. Postal Service usually within four to six weeks. You will then receive your IP PIN annually through the mail.
Enter the six-digit IP PIN when prompted by your tax software product or provide it to your trusted tax professional preparing your tax return. The IP PIN is used only on Forms 1040, 1040-NR, 1040-PR, 1040-SR, and 1040-SS.
Correct IP PINs must be entered on electronic and paper tax returns to avoid rejections and delays. An incorrect or missing IP PIN will result in the rejection of your e-filed return or a delay of your paper return until it can be verified.
I need help to assign a custom 4 or 5 digit number that gets created when any deal is created. This would function as that deal's record ID for our project management, Any solution would be accepted, ideally starting with a set number and each deal would get +1
Essentially there's nothing out of the box for this in HubSpot, you can use a tool like Zapier to send records to a google sheet, from there creating an ID for each row that starts at 0000 then increases by 1 for each row downward. Or you can look into custom code if you have Ops Hub Pro.
Out of the box, this is not possible in HubSpot but there are workarounds. You could use Zapier to send contacts from HubSpot into a Google Sheet. In this sheet, you'd have to come up with a taxonomy/rule for how to create a code for each contact. You could for example get inspiration this Excel tutorial. With the newly generated code for each contact, you could send these contacts back into HubSpot.
I have months listed in a column as single digits representing the month of the year as shown here below. To be consistent with other files I am joining this data to, I need to combine these with a year column and add a leading zero only when it is a single digit month as sown in the update (i.e. "07" from "7" for July). Can anyone help me to do this? I've tried several methods unsuccessfully to even produce the month numbers with a leading zero, without the leading zero also on the 10-12th months (010,011,012) let alone combining the year and month fields as shown her as "Period". Any help would be greatly appreciated.
padleft(tostring([month]),2,"0") should add the leading 0 when necessary. then [Year]+"-" + [Month] would get your period field. If the data types aren't correct, you can use tostring and tonumber to convert between strings and numbers..
I have a workflow where I need to convert a 2 or 3 digit string (or number) to a 5 digit string (or number). Ex: change 102 to be 00102. In Excel, I would use the formula text(ref cell,"00000") but can't find anything similar in formulas or by trying to convert to a string.

I do not understand this clearly beyond the single example.
If your intention is actually to get the second-order digit-sum then the document and the link you find in my answer below should meet your needs. Otherwise I cannot help without a clear explanation in terms leaving the example behind.
Where do A1, B1 come from? Are they assuerd to be 099?
???
However, this approach is by far too specialised. It will deliver nonsense (e.g.) if the digit-sum of first order already is a one-digit-number. It will not be applicable if the original number (or an intermediate digit-sum) has more than 2 digits.
988 is now the three-digit dialing code that routes callers to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (or 988 Lifeline). On July 16, 2022, the 988 Lifeline transitioned away from the National Suicide Prevention Line reached through a 10-digit number to the three-digit 988 Lifeline. It is funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and administered by Vibrant Emotional Health (Vibrant).
When people call, text, or chat with the 988 Lifeline, they are connected to trained crisis counselors who are part of the existing 988 Lifeline network, made up of over 200 local crisis centers. These crisis counselors are trained to provide free and confidential emotional support and crisis counseling to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress and connect them to resources. These services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, across the United States.
Answer the call! 988 Lifeline centers are looking to bring on new volunteers and paid employees. You will receive training, so if you are looking to make a difference for those in crisis, apply today. Find your opportunity:

Do NOT enter the last four digits of the child's Social Security Number. Instead you must enter the two-digit month and two-digit day of the child's birthday (MM/DD). For example, if the child's birthday is July 4, enter 0704. *Be sure to enter the child's actual birthday and not the fake birthday printed on the front of the card.

A 10-digit dialed telephone call requires entering both the three-digit area code and the seven-digit telephone number to complete the call, even if the area code is the same area code as your own. When an area code transitions to 10-digit dialing, you will no longer be able to dial only seven digits to make a local call.
Transitioning to 10-digit dialing will not affect your current telephone number. Your phone number, including your area code, will not change. In California, some parts of Michigan, and in Illinois area code 708, you may be required to dial the number "1" before the area code and seven-digit phone number for local calls.
As part of the two year nationwide transition to 988, more than 80 area codes had to shift to 10-digit dialing. To ensure that calls to 988 reach the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, all covered providers were required to implement 10-digit dialing in areas that both use seven-digit dialing and use 988 as the first three numbers in seven-digit phone numbers. On and after the July 16, 2022 implementation date, calls that begin with the digits 9-8-8, will be directed to the988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and cannot be dialed as part of a seven-digit phone number. If consumers accidently dial 988 as part of a local call, they must hang up and dial again using the area code and the seven-digit number.
Unrelated to the "988" transition, the "202" area code moved to 10-digit dialing on October 9, 2021. Calls dialed using only seven digits will no longer be completed. This move will allow for a new area code, "771," to be added to the current "202" area.
There are more phones in America than there are people, and each phone needs its own phone number. Beginning in the early 1990s, to accommodate the growing need for more phone numbers, some areas began to add a second area code for local calls. Dialing both the area code and the seven-digit number was necessary to ensure the call reached the intended recipient. As more area codes begin to run out of new seven-digit numbers to assign, a second local area code may be added, requiring that area to transition to 10-digit dialing.
