SWAT and Zombies is an FPS action game based on the survival of a SWAT team in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. It is the second part of the series, following the first game, SWAT and Killing Time, which was released in 2014. The game takes place in the same universe as the previous one, as well as in the future. The main difference is that the first game was a survival game, while this one is a first-person shooter. The player controls a team of SWAT officers, and must kill all the zombies to save the world from an invasion.

Due to these zombies being equipped in SWAT armor, they have a natural resistance to bullets. It takes around 4 to 5 times the normal ammunition to neutralize these zombies, so be ready to waste quite a few rounds on them when you encounter one.
Like most of the other undead, these zombies can be killed faster with a bullet to the head. Since these zombies have armor, it is naturally more difficult to take out. When using a ranged weapon, it is best to hit a SWAT zombie on the chin, upper neck or eye to deal maximum damage. Melee weapons (Chainsaw T-800 and Brain-Mill) are the most effective weapons to use on the SWAT zombie as it treats the zombie as it ignores the armor and will kill the zombie in a few hits. Keep in mind there is minimal to no knockback when using melee weapons. All explosives are effective against this and other zombies as explosives ignore armor.
So, SWAT and Zombies Season 2 is self-explanatory: you control a team of SWAT members fighting the zombie threat in the oddly named Perfectville, the final bastion of peace. To do so, you must select your units and place them in the appropriate spots, while the zombies come from the right side gnashing and chewing their way into the city. Sounds easy, right?
Apart from the Adventure mode in Perfectville (which includes day and night levels, doubling the amount available), there are other game modes in SWAT and Zombies Season 2. The Arena mode is the clear highlight, as this is where real time PvP takes place, and with an interesting twist: the zombies are now your allies. Or, at least, YOUR zombies. You get to choose your starting team as you do with the SWAT units.

The last wave is tremendous. Zombies are coming fast to you but you can easily defeat this wave if you have prepared your force early. At that time, throw the bomb on zombies, if they are coming from only one side, send your fighters(placed on other sides) back, you will get coins, buy bombs, powerful fighters to slay down all of them.

The SWAT Zombie is a freak-type zombie encountered in State of Decay and State of Decay 2. Unlike most freaks, SWAT zombies are relatively weak and are easily handled if provided caution is taken.
SWAT zombies are essentially normal zombies wearing riot armor. This armor, identical to that found on the guards at the County Court House, renders them resistant to small-arms fire. Apart from their armor, there is little to distinguish a SWAT zombie from any other. As a silhouette, they are slightly bulkier than normal zombies, with a smoothly rounded helmet. The characteristic glowing eyes of zombies may not be readily visible in SWAT zombies as their helmets can shield their eyes. This makes them a slightly greater threat at night than their normal zombie brethren.
SWAT zombie also similarly resembles the Army Zombie, another type of armored freak zombie. Distinguishing between the two can be difficult at night or in low-light environments. SWAT zombies wear a charcoal grey uniform (Variants exist with a green uniform) with black armor and move at a slow, loping shamble. Army zombies wear a mottled green uniform with matching armor and move quickly. Their silhouettes are identical.
SWAT Zombies are very common, and can be found anywhere on the map, tending to appear after the Mission Home Away From Home is done, which the Player might stumble upon a few in East Marshall during said Mission. They appear to be more common near the courthouse in Marshall, most likely due to their origin as SWAT officers. Furthermore, SWAT zombies can appear in close proximity to existing hordes and will attack with the horde if startled.
Despite their armor, SWAT zombies have no special ability in offensive combat. Upon closing to melee range with a survivor, the SWAT zombie will attempt to pummel the victim or, if able to catch the survivor from behind, bite.
Melee combat with a SWAT zombie is no different than engaging a normal zombie. The SWAT zombie can be pummeled to the ground before delivering a finishing blow or, if the survivor is trained in either Uppercut or Nimble hand-to-hand strategies, the zombie can be knocked down more quickly. In either case, the objective remains the same as it is with normal zombies: get the zombie to the ground as quickly as possible, then deliver a finishing blow. The zombie's helmet does not render it immune or more resistant to finishing strikes.
