[rofug] proxy on FreeBSD

Buna seara tuturor,
va cer sfatul in rezolvarea urmatoarei prb.
Pe un FreeBSD7.0 sunt nevoit sa instalez un proxy. Un proxy care sa
suporte: HTTP(s), FTP,POP3,SMTP,SOCKSv4/5,etc.
Ce-mi recomandati? Incerc in acest moment 3proxy, dar nu stiu cat este
de ok.

La ce vrei sa-l folosesti mai exact, am inteles ca vrei sa suporte
protocoalele respective, dar la ce mai exact vrei sa-l folosesti, ai
clienti (utilizatori), ai niste masini in spate si vrei sa ai un
frontend,samd.
Cu cat dai mai multe informatii cu atat o sa primesti mai mult ajutor.

plecare.
in spatele gateway-ului se afla cateva statii + servere.
Deasemenea din Internet, din alte locatii, se acceseaza aceste servere
by RDP, etc.
Se doreste sa se cunoasca, din bandwidth-ul contractat:
-cat trafic repr HTTP(S), ce site-uri se acceseaza,
-cat repr email-ul,
-FTP-ul,
-in genere, protocoalele/porturile cele mai uzuale, cele mai folosite.
Deasemenea:
-logurile generate sa fie cuprinzatoare si cat mai clare de interpretat,
-da, un front-end ar fi cu atat mai indicat.
-un mod transparent de implementare este indicat,
Aceasta monitorizare se doreste a fi facuta cu scop constructiv.

Pentru statistici pe trafic eu foloseam acum cativa ani ntop pe router.
Vezi daca e ce iti trebuie (http://www.ntop.org/overview.html).

Nu cred ca merita sa pui proxy daca nu te intereseaza autorizare/cache etc.
