2009 ROEE Conference available

Information about the 2009 ROEE Conference, to be held February 13-16
at Mount Evans Outdoor Lab School near Evergreen, Colorado, is now
posted on the ROEE website at http://roee.org/. A Call for Presenters,
with a deadline of December 19, is there, as well as a flier,
schedule, registration form, and accommodations information. Please
help market the conference by distributing the flier to your
professional network.

The 2009 RELC Director's Conference, also of interest to the ROEE
community, will be held January 17-21 at Camp McDowell Environmental
Center near Nauvoo, Alabama. A flier is linked from the ROEE page.

Jim Parry and I offer our apologies for the inappropriate postings
that have occurred on this group. We have wanted to make the group as
open as possible, creating no barriers between those who want to
communicate about residential outdoor environmental education, but a
consequence of that is that some people abuse the system. Jim and I
are talking about how we can share the responsibility of quickly
