2008 ROEE Conference, ROEE website

Presidents Day weekend, at Camp Arrah Wanna in Oregon. Arrah Wanna is
in Welches, Oregon, on the Salmon River near Mt. Hood. The conference
is co-hosted by Northwest Outdoor Science School, a program of the
Northwest Regional Education Service District, and The Outdoor School,
a program of the Multnomah Education Service District.
More information will be provided as soon as it is available.
The ROEE website is back! Go to http://roee.org/ (yes, it gets
forwarded) to see what is there. Much of the information is out of
date, and the website has rough edges, but it's back. I welcome ready-
to-post information from anyone, but can't devote any time to
improving the site.
This Google group, which unfortunately didn't take off after Jim Parry
created it, could be a wonderful resource for sharing challenges and
solutions in the field of Residential Outdoor Environmental Education.
Ask others to join, so it will reach the critical mass it needs to be
useful and interesting. The old EE Link list was quite active and very
valuable in its time, and I hope that time is coming around again.
