I see a lot of hurt on this forum so this I thought it would be good to hear how karma eventually catches up with them. Funny, ominous etc.. At least we can find some sort of positivity from this mess.
Though the film seems to ramble on in plotless bursts of romantically-charged artistic imagery, those who are famiar with the novel will recognize that it makes a noble attempt at coherently bringing to life a story that is in actuality just as all over the place.
Anyway, that was a weird way to celebrate this game's first anniversary. Sorry, I really got nothing else to offer lol! I just really like thinking of alternate universe stuff, and I thought I'll share a bit of that. I hope that's fun to read at least. Creating small games and visual novels have always been one of my dreams ever since I was just a pre-teen, and I'm still so baffled by all the attention this game has gotten! Also, just to make this dev log less useless, I'll show you another sketch of this thing I'm working on. If you've read my behind the scenes post for my other visual novel, For Amerta, then you're probably already aware that I'm planning to make another small game. Not sure when it's going to be done though. There's also a chance that this project can be scrapped as well. The future is very uncertain lol
Ahhh congrats to this absolute emotional mess of a visual novel! I know I said that Yuzuki and Haruto would never get a happy ending I did not think it would expand to THIS! Either way it be more of a horror/thriller instead of the subversive otome shoujo to absolute nightmare fuel. Either, I don't think my heart could handle this AU oof, but I also love your design for the other games you plan out! Goodluck and stay strong in the face of college! Or like, do your best to get passing score because that's what my life has become to, sigh my anxiety isn't worth over that (I say that like I'm not currently doing that)
