March for Rodney on February 2nd

Hi yall -- I know we haven't had much traffic yet on this list yet. That hopefully will be about to change! We are marching for Rodney on February 2nd and we need help to make this the best possible event for Rodney and his family that we possibly can.
As everyone who read the announcement knows, the Campaign to End the Death Penalty - Austin is planning a march and rally for Rodney Reed on February 2nd. Originally, we chose this date because the Court of Criminal Appeals had granted Rodney's defense's request for oral arguments (arguing in person before the court instead of just through written submitted materials) and scheduled them for February 6th. Arguments have been rescheduled however for March 19th.
Although arguments will take place later, we still want to go ahead and have a public event for Rodney in order to keep this story in the media and build off the attention that his case has received due to Jimmy Fennell's indictment for sexual assault.
Who here is planning on coming to the march? We need as much help as we can get planning and promoting the event; there is something for everyone to do. Please contact me as soon as possible to get involved. Please be telling your friends and contacts about the march!
