Grounds Day is on Good Friday morning, so if you can spare some time when you come back from Church it would be greatly appreciated. Sorry to keep banging the same old drum, but we’ve already had one Grounds Day a few weeks ago, and the turn out was good and a lot got done, but it was all the same old faces, and all Committee members. So this is a rallying call to players, Colts and their parents, please come and give a few hours of your time on Friday to get the Ground ready for the new season. The weather has been kind to us so far and the no rain is forecast even into next week so it gives us a great opportunity to crack on put things in place.
As you all should know Jacko our Groundsman supreme has retired and an enthusiastic band of us have jointly taken the role over, and things are going really well, so if we can get a good turn out it means the Grounds Crew can get on with some more preparation work on the square rather than having to put sightscreens up etc.
So I look forward to seeing loads of you on Friday morning 9am start, Angie's special breakfast provided to all participants, what more encouragement do you need.
