QUESTIONS CONCERNING 588 VS 599

Greetings,

 I have a Rodgers 588 (added an external Roland 2.1 sound system and MX200) at home and I am thoroughly enjoying the organ. I have some questions concerning the differences between the 588 and 599. If there are people on the forum who could answer these questions, it would be greatly appreciated.

Based on what I have read, some of the similarities and differences between the two models are as follows:

588--stop tab

599-drawknob

588 cannot be upgraded to the new software that came out a few months ago, only organs ending in '9' can be upgraded

599--default voices have changed

599--additional library voices (e.g., orchestral voices)

Questions:

1. If you had a 588 beside a 599, would one be able to hear a difference in sound quality between the two organs? Have the samples changed for the default and voice pallets voices and if so, how?

2. With organs that end in '9' does that mean that future software developments can be integrated into the Artist Series organs?

In the past, members have been very helpful, so I am hoping that someone will be able to answer the above questions and/or provide additional information regarding the Artist Series. I know that Nelson Dodge from Church Keyboard Centre has been very helpful and provided information  to questions I submitted to the group several months ago.
