Acquired 2 sets of Conn Pipes via TradeMe for $102 the pair ... intend to spruce them up and add to my antiphonal FR7.5's ... have had a search operating on TradeMe for about 5x yrs ... a long wait, but worth it.

Hey, Ron, in just casually walking around town, I found an old store in a neighborhood that has a set of two Conn pipe speakers. The pipes look all right, but the wood base could use some refinishing. Any clue what I should offer the guy for the set?

Hello Richard ... thanks for your interest ... Conn Pipes are hard to find in this part of the world ... I still have to access whether I need to replace any of the 6x9 elliptical speakers in either of the units recently purchased ... however that is relatively easy to fix ... ... to your question regarding prices ... afraid I am unable to assist with USA prices ... however do know that EBay had a single set priced at about $300+ a week or so ago ... found that rather over priced ... depends on condition I suppose ... whatever, in spite of some folks critical assessments, still regard Conn Pipes as an aesthetic enhancement to a digital classical/theatre configuration ... ... further, mine contains two homemade pipe units mounted on two English Goodmen speaker enclosures ... resulting in subtle and aesthetic enhancements to overall sound and visual effects ... each to his/her own opinion/thoughts.
