A company that is strong financially does.

From Rodgers last week:

2015 goes down as one of our best years on record. In fact, this past year has given us the best improvement in bottom line operating results in the history of the company

I’m posting this to dispel any rumors that Rodgers is “in trouble”.

In Omaha we believe Rodgers has value.  Our parish just signed before New Years for a custom 361 that will be interfaced with a Casavant of 30 ranks.

BTW, talking about dealers, our dealer, Gerry Oehring, is the best out there!

(OK Gerry, I said it – now when does the 4 manual arrive on my doorstep?!?!?!)

Rodgers Organs have always been the best choice in organs at least electronically speaking. I have played on so many organs in my lifetime that I have lost track of the many organs I have played. I have played literally millions of Allen Organs because the Allen Organ dealer was in my area over 20 years ago and they allowed me to come in and practice on whatever Allen came into their store, which I got my experience with those organs many analog and brand new including the old card reader organs that were brand new in the early 90s when I plays on them.
I have also played on many Johannus Organs as well because various churches in my area had them and allowed me to come in and practice on them as well since I didn't have a organ in my home at the time. The Allen store did on occasion get a Johannus in on trade in and yes I did play on them as well.
I have also in my younger years played on several Galanti Organs as well due to yes churches in my area getting newer organs and they were gracious enough to allow me to practice on them.

Back in 1992, I bought a Allen MDC-20 because it was the only organ I could afford at the time, and I needed a organ for practice, but that organ was ok for practice but I still had to practice on the churches organs due to the AGO Pedalboard.

I have also played on several Pipe Organs and many many Rodgers Organs both really old analog ones (which I can say I was really impressed with them) and then several earlier digital Rodgers Organs, and they were really great.

I really enjoy Rodgers Organs and Roland, and have played on many of them and they are by far the best organs ever to play on in my opinion and I would recommend any church to get a Rodgers Organ and if they want to go Pipe; get a Rodgers Combination Hybrid Organ where you get to keep both worlds of Pipe and also Electronic. But Rodgers Organs can't yet be beat and they in my opinion are the best and are the best choice for a church.
About ten years ago, I got the knowledge of several new Rodgers installations in Mobile Alabama because several of my family members went to various churches that had Rodgers Masterpiece Organs installed and when I heard word of this, I would contact the music director and explain to them who I am and that I need a organ to practice on when I come to visit relatives and to my amazement they have told me to come on and practice on them. Well there was a huge church in Mobile, where they installed a Rodgers Masterpiece 1058, and when I heard of this I jumped in on the opportunity and contacted the music director and got permission to come in and practice on their new organ. His response was "John, why do you want to practice on our organ?" I then replied because I love organs both electronic and pipe and I want the opportunity to say that I have had the pleasure of playing on a Masterpiece 1058 Organ. Well I played on it and really did enjoy it as I also visited many other smaller churches that had smaller three manual masterpiece organs. But I do say that the a significant board member came in on me playing on their Masterpiece 1058 Organ and they said Um who are you to come and play on our organ, and who are you? I told them to please relax I will take very great care for your organ and see I'll show you what I am doing, let me play you this piece which at the time was the Little Prelude in A Minor by Bach, the Board Member then turned to me and said the organ is yours toplay as often as you want, and could I just let you know that you are playing on a organ that is well over 20,000 dollars,he was trying to intimidate me and scare me, but my response was oh I know that and I will take full care of your organ and not hurt it. Well his response was I know you will, but we just don't let anyone off the street come in and play on a instrument that costs over 20,000 dollars, and I said Oh I understand and I wouldn't either for that matter but I appreciate the organ and I need some practice time and I treasure the moment and your music director has already given me permission to practice on your church organ. So he left and allowed me to practice as did several other churches as well.

In closing in 2008, I came upon a deal that was to good to pass up on eBay and it was a Rodgers Insignia 577 Organ with PR-300S so I did my research and asked several members on our list and they reassured me that I would enjoy and love the purchase and that it was a really great organ for home use. Well guess what they were right and even though I knew that already, so I purchased it and haven't regretted my choice, why you might ask, because Rodgers and Roland once again make very fine products and my organ was fortunate to have very good Roland Products both in and on the organ. The internal speakers are so good that I often enjoy connecting my MacBook Pro up to my organ and playing music through the organ Speakers when I don't want to play the organ myself and just want to enjoy music, and the fine Roland Speakers in this organ. Once again I want to thank Rodgers for making such a fine organ and also Roland for that matter and I again would recommend Rodgers to anyone that needs a organ or wants to purchase a organ. Rodgers and Roland a Truly Great Organ. In closing I can still say this and be safe, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 😎🎅🏻🎉. Christmas isn't officially over and the Christmastide Season isn't over till January 6th Epiphany 😎🎅🏻🎉

I'll echo your comments on  the Insignia 577 and Rodgers.  I own a 577 and  have four  FR5.0s with a powered subwoofer.  This organ will knock the socks off a $75,000 Allen that is located in a Methodist church in my neighborhood.  The sound is spacious, clear;, and some of the samples are better than the Trillium and Masterpiece organs.  If it just had two MIDI pistons per division and more piston memory, it'd be great.  BUT,  it's an excellent practice organ and I enjoy it a lot!.  Right now, I'm thinking about putting a couple of small scale ranks on it.

With the Roland C-330 having ceased production there’s going to be a sudden flurry of sales of them….and a good chance that they will sell for full price or even more.

Why?

It’s the same organ as the Rodgers 500 series that came out at the same time.

People who love it and are less than thrilled with the synthetic finish case have talked about disassembling the case, duplicating it in real good and rebuilding it.

Others see it as a low-cost way to gut an old console and install the C-330 in out…

Hello,

In Brazil, as a country of most Roman Catholic Apostolic, most digital organs are the Viscount and Johannus.

Protestant Churches use more Rodgers, Baptists mainly

To my ears the Rodgers has the best sound! Period of 10 year warranty offered is much higher (10 years) against (2years) of viscount and Johannus.

Interestingly, as the Viscount here is quoted in Euro and Rodgers In dollar, the Viscount ends up being more expensive than Rodgers.

Our Church when it bought the MS356 with 8 speakers cost R $ 163,000.00 Reais.

A Viscount UNICO without the speakers cost R $ 180,000.00.

Unfortunately!!!

I know in the United States you have access to various organs that we in South America (Brazil) do not have.

Roland C330 fulfilled a demand we wanted as organ studies and small churches.

A considerable amount of these instruments were sold.

I believe that in other countries it also had a good sales volume.

Steve - My first organ was a used Insignia 530 (rounded sides on the sliding cover). I interfaced it with a MIDI module and loved it for many years.
Then, the Allegiant 678 + MX200 + ProFiler. The ProFiler is great since I am not very accomplished and can record some good sessions or, better yet, play back some of the selections provided by Noel and James Pressler (Bach by Immersion).

Good thought Noel....but it's pretty much over already.  During November/December I sold seven C330/C380--not related to it being discontinued--these were sales that either just happened to come up now or were already in process.  I bought the last few C330/C380 that Rodgers had in inventory--I have only one C330 left at the moment.
