Hope you're having a great week. The cOmmittee has been really excited over the past week since the launch of Scatter Run. Lots of hype and entries coming through, especially from non-O folks. This series of events is really going to boost our sport into the trail running community. If you're keen to help out at the events before or after your run then please let us know. It's a proudly ROC initiative, in partnership with Wild Trail!

B'sorah Farm - Long-O

Eugene has planned some great courses for this Sunday at B'sorah! The two of us spent some quality time checking all the control sites this past Sunday. I must say that it's I pity I don't get to compete, but since I know the courses I'm also so excited for you all! The terrain is really quite amazing.

Online entries for this fine event close tomorrow night at midnight! On the day entries are accepted but if you know you're coming why not enter online and save a few ZAR? It also helps a lot with map printing.

Here are some final points about Sunday's event:

1) Leg cover is highly advisable, especially ankle cover if you have, due to the grasses in the area. 

2) There will be water out on the light-green/green/blue/brown courses. Sunday is expected to be a nice sunny day as far as I can see. Not too hot/not too cold.

3) This is the long-O, so courses are a bit longer than usual, but are as per the distances on the event sheet. There is a good mix of technical and running legs on all courses.

4) Some courses shall have to cross a crossable fence once or twice, so care must be taken. It is a very crossable fence which goes over a boulder every now and then which can assist you.

5) No fires and no smoking allowed on the farm. 

6) Courses close at 13:00. Controls WILL be collected after 13:00.

7) There is a small farm shop right by the event arena. They shall have coffee, soft drinks and snacks on sale.

8) Be O-some.

Quiz night!

Apparently entries are going really well for Quiz night next Thursday (7th of June), which we're well pleased about! If you haven't yet communicated with Michele, please do so. Don't get #fOmO!
