Hey Scatter fans,
wOw, did we have a top event on Sunday! What an awesome turn out for our first Scatter Run! We had roughly 86 entries in the end, mostly from non-O individuals, and the response was really cool! It's really charged us up for Event 2 on the 12th of August at Groenkloof! www.scatterrun.co.za. Don't forget to enter!

Also we've just received the event sheet for this weekend's event at Rocky Valley, attached. I hope to see you all there where we can talk more about scattering!
Scatter Run Shirts
Visit the Scatter Run website to check out the awesome racerback and vest which the team was sporting on Sunday. Orders are opening on the 1st of July (or even sooner) for only R250!!! Bargain! The ordering link will be on the website, but I'll also communicate it in next weeks O-mail. These shirts are really really cool. Make sure to order one to stave off #fOmO!
Botswana O-Vent Postponed

"Unfortunately the organizers of the Inaugeral Botswana orienteering event have had to postpone the event due to a big clash on the date. I am busy liaising with them to find a new date later in the year that will suit both them and the South African O’ calendar. Please can you advise your members of this change and I will try and get a new date sorted out ASAP so that as many people as possible can organize their diaries to attend what will be a superb event."

Looking forward to the event at Rocky Valley, which nearly two years ago was actually my first Brown course. wOw did my skeletons really come home to roost that day...
I'm told the planning on that day was questionable, but if nothing else I really learnt a few things about Orienteering, and life, and whatnot, during my 2 hours and 42 minutes 😂
