Hey ROCstars,
There's so much O to talk about I barely think I can do it justice with this humble email! I've been looking forward to April since the calendar came out! So many events!
Well for starters, a huge thanks to O-Ventures for Tuesday night's Street-O in Robin Hills. There were definitely hills about and my legs let me know about it on Wednesday morning.
Then, as I like to keep things chronological, this Sunday is GOC Relay's at St. Stithians. I mentioned on the Whatsapp Group earlier on that I'm desperate to run around this map, having missed previous events there. If you're not part of a team then why not come and support, have a walk around the grounds and spot controls, and lost orienteers.. I'll put the ROC relay team list at the bottom of this mail. Let's wish them luck! Although with punny team names like these we're sure to clean up.
I've also attached the event sheet, for information.
NEXT EVENTS:
==!! NIGHT-O !!==
Continuing the Night-O series from last year, RACO has put together some new epic golf course challenges to add an interesting aspect to your O-sperience.
Comming up we have:
7th April - Houghton Golf Course
14th April - Jackal Creek
21st April - Randpark Golf Course
They're all on Saturday nights, and there's always food, drink and a vibe.
NOTE: NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY FOR THESE. Entries for the first event, Houghton, close on the 5th.
As usual, head over to
Orienter to get your entries in. Entries are open already!
KAAPSEHOOP O-RINGEN
Come spend a weekend away with ROC where we're putting on some high-end O around beautiful, Kaapsehoop. 27-29 April. This would be my 3rd O weekend in Kaapsehoop and I can't wait. Please be sure to get accommodation booked asap, as it's just 5 weekends away!
See the event sheets attached.
The event will be on Orienter in the next day and close on the 24th of April.
Hope I'm not forgetting anything, but if I am I'll just tell you in person at one of the many events coming up.
Happy O, happy life; Otherwise you're just lost.
Yours in O
