Results from the Coves and other upcoming events!

Hey O-fans,

Attached you shall find all the results from yesterday's ROC event at The Coves. A big thank you to all that made it possible. The courses were well planned with a nice mix of legs, and we had many newcomers giving it a try!

Personally the event showed me a few things I have to work on, but my (friendly) rivalry with unnamed RACO members has only been heightened!

A quick look at the O-lender shows me that the next event we should be taking note of is the O-Ventures Street-O in Robin Hills, next Tuesday evening the 20th. 

For those new to the Street-O/Metrogaine/Rogaine concept:

"You and a partner, with the aid of a map and clue sheet, will have 60 (short course), or 90 (long course) min to locate as many checkpoints as possible, answering questions at each point to show that you have been there. The further the checkpoint, the greater the value and the winner is the team with the highest score at the end of the allotted time."

Following the Street-O, we have club relays on Sunday the 25th at St. Stithians. Club captains shall be organising teams so please do heed the call. RACO knows what's coming!

Then, a reminder to book accommodation for the Kaapsehoop weekend from the 27th to the 29th of April. 3 events over the 3 days, two forest events and one urban. Really good quality O.
