Hey cOmrades,

Firstly, congratulations to Mr Alex Pope for completing the Comrades Ultra marathon this past Sunday. A fantastic display of running prowess! And, although not ROC members directly, a mention also goes out to Greg Kench and his girlfriend Amanda for also completing the feat! 

Also what a great time we had at ROC quiz night last week! Thanks to quiz master Ian for a well planned evening, which definitely showed how little I know about the real world. But that's all in jest as it was primarily a special evening to spend with the ROC family!

Right, let's get to this weeks O-news:

!!GOC Champs this Friday to Sunday!!

I hope you've got your O feet strapped on for some top end competition starting on Friday. The final bulletin came out yesterday and I'm Ocited to say the least! Make sure to take in all of the relevant details on the bulletin regarding start times, etc. YOU CANNOT BE LATE FOR YOUR START

Don't forget that there are non-championship courses on each of the 3 days, which you can enter on the day. So if all of this age category stuff isn't in your O-bag, then do come along and still enjoy the day out with us.

There's also the GOC social on Saturday afternoon which is a bring and braai. TNT craft breweries shall be in attendance too! 

You also need to bring along a signed indemnity form to Maretlwane, as well as a printed copy of the sprint flyer to gain access to the college on Saturday.

!!Scatter Run event 1 - Rosemary Hill!! - June 24th

Less than two weeks away to the first of our new series of events, the Scatter Run!

We've added start times for the various groups, 180min - 09:30, 90 min - 10:00, 45 min - 10:30.

As an bonus for ROC members and ROC prospects (so if you're receiving this mail), we're offering a free meal and a drink after the event. A bit of a social, debrief and thanks for helping out and also to meet newcomers!
