Hello Rocky Hockey Players/Students,
I want to "Thank Everyone" who stepped up to help on the ice as Instructors this past weekend with Rocky Hockey clinics.
As you are aware, I was away in Niagara Falls, Canada this weekend with a group of Squirt players (9-10year olds) and their families for "International Silver Sticks Finals" hockey tournament. The team did great getting to the Semi-Finals only to lose out in a sudden-death shootout.
Wow, were we pleasantly surprised on the huge response of registrations we received from our emails for RH Youth classes.
This past weekend caught us a bit off guard with the large number of children who want to learn to play this great game of hockey.
However, Candace and I do have a couple of things we need to smooth out for the remainder of this session to ensure your child receives the best teaching environment that we strive to offer them.
1) I believe that we are finally succeeding in getting all the players into the "Loaner Hockey Equipment" which we purchase from USA Hockey. I understand that it still took us some extra time to get everyone fitted and we would like to have avoided this delay but we received the additional equipment on late Friday afternoon with no time to do an early fitting.
2) Please remember to come to your designated Day/Time Clinic as we cannot have too many players on the ice at one time. We have stressed for the past (15) years that we keep our number of On-Ice Players at workable levels so they get the most out of His/Hers learning experience.
If you need a make up day you must contact me prior to taking the ice so we do not overbook the class.
3) Please, Please, we really need to have everyone who has not responded to our email for "Loaner Equipment" to please do so before this Wednesday (Jan. 12th). If you have equipment and are not returning for Session #2, we really need to get it back as there are several other children who can use it.
These bags of equipment cost us $80 each, and to date we have put out $4500 for equipment and I really do not want to purchase more if I do not need to do so.
There are (20) families who received "Loaner Equipment" this past weekend, please email us back with what you have in your possession just so we can confirm our records.

Helmet #1 - Black with "Chicago Hawks" stickers on the sides and #17 on the back.
Helmet #2 - Black with the #8 on the back. This was loaned out on Saturday.

Hello RH Families,
We have (2) Two helmets that were loaned out this past weekend and we "REALLY - REALLY" need these back as they belong to children who need them for Monday (Jan. 10th) for their team functions. The owners of these two helmets only gave them out for the day and they were not to be taken away.
Please call me and I will come and get them frrom you today (Monday, Jan.10th).
Helmet #1 - Black with Wire Cage and "Chicago Hawks" stickers on the sides and #17 on the back.
Helmet #2 - Black with Wire Cage and with the #8 on the back. This was loaned out on Saturday.
