I am going to the Cyclists in Suits day in Austin, we have chartered a bus to take us all down and back. This occurs right after the Houston/Austin MS 150 on the monday.
If anyone cares to join us, the costs are very low and we talk to all the legislators and give them bike pins, etc.
Contact me for further info, or you can go to www.BikeDFW.org for the chance to sign up.
Would love to see more people go as the numbers are very important.

i saw this post the other day on beginner triathlete and thought you
might be interested. i saw it as a possible first step for rockwall
bike lanes. it's a bill that was proposed earlier this year about safe
passing laws but wont be voted on until april 20th.

the first link is a blog entry about the bill and what it actually
says, and the second link is a webiste supporting the legislation and
a possible trip to austin when the bill gets voted on.
