Pickup tonight? Maybe tomorrow 5/29 (please respond to poll!!)

Hi all,

I won't make a final call, but it seems likely tonight is a rainout.

Tomorrow is looking much more likely. Can we try for a game then, now that Thursday indoor is done?

Dear Discers,

I'm afraid Mike's probably right about tonight being a rainout.  It's been bucketing at Welsh all morning, and the forecast shows a substantial possibility of rain through sundown.  If something surprising happens, we can pivot, but unless you see something more in this email group, assume no game tonight.

While I have you:  Big thanks to Dave P. for organizing Monday's post-game get together.  Thanks to all who contributed food and beverages, and a special thanks to Han for manning the grille.  Somewhere Gary is smiling.

If you don't get critical mass for tomorrow (Thurs.) and the weather holds, consider a visit to Blueberry Hill.

As my name is associated with both the disciple and with doubting Thomas, I am less likely to trust the weather people. i believe them as much as those from ski resorts telling you how much snow they just received (dude, it's just dumping snow man).

So i'm still hoping on tonight but will follow Mark's call if/when that happens.  else am also up for tomorrow as backup.

thanks too to Dave, Han, and Mark for organizing the cookout, and to those who came and added items. 

I still have vivid memories of Gary doing his warm-up laps around the field.
