Hi All,
Has anyone noticed the strangely cyclical poor air quality pattern we
in Sault Ste. Marie have been experiencing the last several days? The
PM 2.5 measure peaks around 12:00 +/- (noon and midnight) to rather
high levels (20's in some cases) and no other Ontario stations are
reporting a similar phenomenon, pattern, or levels. It looks like
we're headed there again today.

I know Sault College is doing some work, but surely hacking down a
forest to build what is supposed to be a LEED equivalent building
can't be causing such a release of PM 2.5.
The MoE doesn't know what's causing this.

(BTW - everyone interested in air quality should be aware that the MoE
now provides detailed pollutant concentration readings and graphs for
each station and the province as a whole on their air quality website
- really helpful information.)
