[Rocks-Discuss] cant exit insert-ethers

installed a new compute node and left the headnode on the insert-ethers
GUI.
Came back to it about an hour or so later and could not F10 or F11 to
exit. had to restart.
Is this common? is it potentially damaging?

Assuming this is your problem:

For me it made a difference what terminal window I was in:
1) gnome terminal - F10/F11 did not work
2) xterm window - F10/F11 did work properly

for gnome-terminal -

try going into
Edit...Keyboard Shortcuts...
then uncheck "Disable menu shortcut key (F10 by default)

...unless, of course you actually use that feature ;-)
