upon review:

The Giants will win big.

Our user generating central script had a rocks sync config line just to clean the slate.

Reviewing the log and the useradd dates the two coincided:

Still, i guess one needs to remember or sync config pached that in case the command is indeed called the nodes file will be wiped. So we do need a patch for that. Or a Rocks field to store added pbs nodes info.
