I'm still getting this issue and it's so frustrating. Every time I have a loading screen that leads to my home lot, everyone is standing on the front lawn "changing their phone covers." This causes them to leave work/school early and their performance suffers.
I am also having this problem. When I'm playing my active sim on a lot other than home, and then I return home, my supposed-to-be-at-work sim is suddenly home, and is treated like they left work early (lower pay, performance hit), and the supposed-to-be-at-work sim has the "change phone color" action queued at that time.
One thing I noticed is that when I'm on the other lot, and then select travel to go home, when I'm in the map screen, it shows that my supposed-to-be-at-work sim is at home. But then, if I cancel the travel and remain at the other lot, it still shows that sim at work like they're supposed to be, with usual options to work hard, leave early, etc. So you can actually see it about to happen and still cancel it while in world view. It's only once I actually return home that the other sim is suddenly there.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? You need 2 Sims in the same household. Sim [A] goes to work, Sim [B] (the active one) travel to another world. Sim [B] returns home before the time when Sim [A] finishes work. When home, Sim [A] is already there.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Sim who should be at work returns home earlier than expected, along with the active Sim who was returning from another neighborhood/world.
What do you expect to see? I would like the Sim at work to stay until the end of his working hours.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Only a couple of CC hair in this save. No Mods.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes, after the patch 1.90
Be really nice if they fixed this already. It's extremely hard to play, when this happens. I haven't even bought HSY yet, and I don't want to until this is fixed, since I can't do anything that leaves the house I'm playing, without causing other sims to come back and mess up their stuff.

Whenever my Sims attend university, despite having the necessary skills maxed out, homework always turned in, presentations and term papers are outstanding quality, and studying for hours on end, my sims fail their classes with F grades and are put on probation. I have already tried removing mods and it did not work.
What do you expect to see? I expect my Sims to pass their classes because they did all of the necessary work

Whenever my Sims attend university, despite having the necessary skills maxed out, homework always turned in, presentations and term papers are outstanding quality, and studying for hours on end, my sims fail their classes with F grades and are put on probation. I have already tried removing mods and it did not work.
I am extremely annoyed with this, as prior to the patch, my Sims were doing wonderfully in their coursework. Now they are failing despite doing every single thing that is necessary. I'm really upset that I can't play with this feature.
My Sim has Level 10 cooking, gourmet cooking, and baking. They are going to school for Culinary Arts. They have failed or gotten very low grades in 5 classes now, and is suspended. Classes of all 3 variety: term paper (turned in edited to outstanding quality), presentation (also edited to outstanding), and final exam (studied for ad naseum). They only took 2-3 classes at a time, has no job, and literally does nothing but cooking-related things other than what they need to survive. Still suspended. Before the patch I got an A+ in every class for this Sim and previous Sims.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I got my Sim maxed out in the Painting skill, but she has 2 Painting classes left in University. But no matter how much I stay on top of homework (with the cheat Make Happy) and study and do everything extra for each course and get to class and does the exam/final presentation, she ends up FAILING at the end........... even though she's literally a pro painter already and does all the work on time. She'll just keep failing and thus never be able to GRADUATE (these are the last 2 classes she needs, I reiterate.)

@crinrict I'm noticing that several of the bug reports mention Sims failing in subjects where their skill levels are already maxed out. Could it be that some kind of hidden game mechanism is looking for skill level progress when calculating final grades?
Electronic Arts ha svelato i requisiti minimi di sistema necessari per far girare The Sims 4 su PC: le specifiche sono piuttosto basse e sicuramente alla portata di molti. Il gioco richiede un processore da almeno 1.8 GHZ accompagnato da 2 GB di RAM e una scheda video con 128 MB di memoria dedicata.
Se non capite nulla di PC, e non sapete come fare a capire se il gioco pu funzionare sul vostro pc... usate il controllo dei requisiti minimi, non da risultati sempre al massimo, ma senza dubbio un buon punto di partenza.
La EA dichiara le seguenti schede grafiche come compatibili. NOTA: questo non vuol dire che con tutte queste il gioco funziona allo stesso modo. Vuol dire che supportano il gioco, ma non ne indicano la qualit.
Le SIM devono conformarsi, su base individuale, alla regolamentazione sui fondi propri, sui requisiti patrimoniali, sul rischio di concentrazione, di liquidit e sulla pubblicazione delle informazioni nonch sulle segnalazioni alle Autorit competenti.
