Hi All

Happy New Year to everyone!

I was playing my Christmas singles and the box was on for a couple of hours when all of a sudden it stopped. This was without completing the selection and it stopped halfway through the selection  just as if there had been a power cut (which there hadn’t).

I checked the fuses and found that the “Trage” fuse had blown . I ordered a replacement 3.15 slow blow and put it in and the same thing happened so obviously it’s more than just a tired fuse. I have attached (I think) a photo of the fuse and location below.

Referring to page 16 of the manual it advises to try switching it Off and On and then moving the the scan switch to the Scan position which I did but it didn’t work.

I then referred to the manual (page 17) which says that “If the mechanism does not start in the scan position” then the problem area is:
A Credit Unit board
B Logic board
C Regulator Board (power supply)
D Play Control Relay
E Magazine Motor
F Mechanism Power Board

OK that’s where I am but I must confess to being at a lost on how to go any further because as soon as I put a fuse in and try to switch it on the fuse blows so I am unable to do any further diagnostics without any power.

Does anybody have any ideas please I am really keen to get it going again but am currently at a loss!

Kind regards
Ken
