Hi
Overheating of something may be the cause but it is possibly a leakage to earth on a component, maybe a transformer
or capacitor leaking.
The last time I had a problem it was one of the capacitors on the fluorescent tube ballast had died. It may not be easy to find, with power disconnected check for any leakage resistance from the power input to the chassis with an ohm meter. The lower the resistance the worse the leakage.
An insulation tester is really what is needed but if the leakage is high the ohm meter may show it. If so disconnecting leads one at a time from the various items that are connected to the supply to see if the leakage goes away.
I hope this makes some sense, Have you got a manual showing the wiring diagram. You can follow the diagram and see the path that the supply takes to the innards.

Subject: Overheating?
HI, I am having a problem with my jukebox in that it plays two or three records and then trips the RCD on the house. I presume that it is overheating somehow? Does anyone have any suggestions on what to look for or replace? Many thanks
