Hi guys, yesterday I fulfilled my decades old wish to buy a jukebox, in this instance a 477. It had major selection issues but was otherwise alright and complete. The previous owner had it for 20 years and evidently the problem had always been there.
I found a few dry solder joints on the opto board, a strand of copper wire shorting out a chip leg on the logic board, and one broken wire to the logic board. Hey presto!
Played very slow. I roughed up the play pulley on a cheese grater and it is now listenable, but a touch slow. Where can I get another pulley?
Also, what do the various dip switches do on the profit maker unit?
