My advice: try to get two of them. They are pretty reliable if well cared for--I still have two on route and a third at home. But pinpointing and repairing problems without interchangeable spare electronic boards and parts can be extremely difficult if you do not have a lot of knowledge and experience with them. You don't necessarily need an exact twin model. Most electrical and mechanical parts will freely interchange between the 476. 477, 478. 480, 481, 483, 484, and 488. You can also sometimes find spare parts for these models fairly cheap on ebay (but they are getting more scarce). Good luck, Ed
