little fella looking for a name

This little fella found his way to us yesterday and everybody in the
house has different ideas about a name. He's part schnauzer and part
shitzhu so will be small but doesn't cow in the least to shadow who is
keeping his head soaked by mothering him, any ideas? ``

How about "Bless You" -- the types of dog he is reminds me of sneezing (plus I'm allergic to dogs)!

Jasper...that's a good name...When I saw him, I just thought he looked like a dark version of a Terrier/Dachshund mix I just rescued from the pound.  I should have named her Sandy...but, I uncreatively call her Terri...

He looks like Alexander the Great to me. But that might be just me.:)

He'll be handy to have around--the white patches over his eyes mean he can
identify vampires and warn you against them.:)

Lest anyone think I actually believe in vampires, I'll add that this is
just folklore and I do, in fact, know that.:)

I did some research into some names based on his character, i.e. being
courageous, small etc. and I came up with some interesting possibilities for
you:

1. Andrew (Greek) means manly, courageous, so variations would be Drew, Dru,
Andre
2. Fadey (Slavic) Courageous
3. Farrell (Celtic/Gaelic) Of Proven Courage
4. Ferdinand (German) To Be Courageous - Fred for short?
5. Vernados (Greek) Courage Of A Bear
6. Kelev or Kaleb (Hebrew) is the word for dog, but it also means faithful
and bold
