05/29 Recommendations from RH Swing Dancer

Hey Everyone,

Tom Hong sent me an e-mail with some great suggestions he'd like to
share with all of you who have a passion for swing dancing. Here is
his message:

"Hey Alan, I have [some] things i wanna ask the group, but i thought i
would run it by you and let you decide whether you want to do these or
not. Take at look at what I wrote, and pass it on if you wish:

1) Cicada Club on Sunday night anyone?

This coming Sunday, there's this awesome swing band from England
playing at this awesome retro restaurant in downtown LA. The band
usually charge a premium for appearance, and the club usually charge
$40 for cover, but for this Sunday, there's NO COVER charge! Which
means, you can just DRESS UP, and SHOW UP, and DANCE! And even if you
can't dance (like a lot of people there), you can still dress up in
your best vintage attire and just have a blast party like it's 1939.

3) Lindy Bombing, anyone?

And how's this for an idea: LETS GO LINDY BOMBING!! How about, the
girls and the boys meet up at Downtown Disney sometime after each
gender group did their own in/out thing, and lindy bomb to the swing
music they always play via their intercom after 10:30pm? And impress
those Asian tourists coming out of Disneyland with this American thing
they never seen or heard before?"
