i had been using chromecast almost daily without any issues. just upgraded to 5.3.88 in the last hour, reset the app and chromecast no longer works - error message "could not connect to the device". this occurs for all 3 of my chromecast able devices (1x official chromecast audio, 1x jbl link 20 speaker, 1x mibox android tv box)
i can still play the same local music files from my sd card over chromecast using different android apps (such as 'hi fi cast') without any issues, so this is rocket player specific.
I've tried resetting the phone completely, problem still persists.
I'm using moto g5+, android 7.0, 1st june security patch (up to date).
should i open a support ticket? how do i do that - is that the 'email support' option under the help menu in the app?
