Hi Miroslav,

Thanks for you inputs

It is still now reflecting my client side changes after deleting temp
folders (www dir).
What we are trying to do is that just adding alerts to
GwtSerializationCometClient and CometClient.

We are facing few problems with Safari browser as Rocket objects are
received after delay of 1-5 minutes.
However they are written properly to response. What i think is that on
Safari browser the despatch method is not working properly.

Can you please suggest something about how we can debug
GwtSerializationCometClient's dispatch() method where unmarshalling of
objects is done.

Thanks & Regards
Nim / Sandeep

Hi,
I've made some changes in Rocket Client side class. Run "dist"
ant task which depends ="clean,compile,gwt-compile-
all, package",changes not reflected however i had deleted temp files as
well.

Do we need to run Run "dist" or only "compile" will work for me.

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks & Regards,
Nim

Hi

The best I can suggest is too take a look at how others have used
javascript to implement comet or server side streaming.

It appears from what you tell that safari is blocking until the
connection is dropped and then it delivers the messages. Well maybe
connection drop is the wrong trigger but whatever it is, it's blocking.

Many other libs and products do comet so search for how they do comet
with safari.

You should only need to use the any stuff when packaging. If you need
to hack some classes copy that classes •.java into your source and
make sure your classes die is ahead of the rocket jar files.
