Hello gamers!

Rocket City NerdCon ( https://hmcpl.org/rocketcitynerdcon ) is a
multi-genre fandom convention being held at the main branch of the
Huntsville-Madison County Public Library this weekend, October
22nd-23rd. It includes guest authors and artists, gaming, a Teen
Masquerade Ball, and much more.

A large portion of the gaming available will focus on a local company
and their new card game, Fate of Akalon: Tribes (
https://foursightgames.com/products/ ). A Fate of Akalon tournament
will be held on Saturday at 5:00 pm!

The gaming schedule also includes a showcase of products from Steve
Jackson Games on Saturday, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. The available list
includes (but may not be limited to)...

* the ever-popular Munchkin parody card game (steal the treasure, stab
your buddy) and all its flavors (fantasy, horror, Old West, pirate,
sci-fi, zombie, etc.);

* the fun and fast dice games: Cthulhu Dice (keep your sanity), Zombie
Dice (braaiiins), Chupacabra (beware the bloodsucking fiend), and the
Mars Attacks games (race to conquer Earth, ack, ack);

* the Revolution! board game (plan and plot to lead the city's revolution); and

* The Stars Are Right tile game (align the stars to summon horrors
beyond space and time).
