International Talk Like A Pirate Day is Tuesday, September 19th, and
Haven Comics, Etc. in Madison is hosting a Munchkin Booty card game
event to celebrate. Rake in the loot as a Pirate, Naval Officer, or
Merchant. Taunt yer foes with yer horrible Accent -- British, Spanish,
Dutch, or French. Captain a Half-Galleon and equip it with a Crow's
Nest and Figurehead. But above all... level up and win! New players be
welcome. Ages 10+.

As a side note for those of you interested in out-of-print or used
games, the used bookstore, 2nd & Charles, has opened in Madison. It
carries an assortment of new and used games and buys used games as
well. It has the largest selection of used card, board, and
role-playing games in the area. The Deep Comics & Games in Huntsville
has also started selling a limited selection of used role-playing
games (mainly Dungeons & Dragons). Of course, the Booklegger in
Huntsville still carries a few used game books (mainly war games
currently based on my last visit a couple of weeks ago).
