Hello Huntsville Gamers!

This has been a quiet summer for gaming but things are starting to pick up. Of course, you still need to decide what is best for your health and comfort. That being said, the following events are happening around town:
  • StationRetro is hosting Dark Tides: A Bilgewater D&D Oneshot this Friday (Oct 23rd) at 6:00 pm. The price is $9.99 per player. You can learn more on Facebook  (https://www.facebook.com/events/389650535527183).
  • StationRetro is also hosting their first Flames of War League meeting this Saturday (Oct 24th) at noon. Participants join this World War II game event by building the popular "Hit the Beach" kit and then playing a D-Day scenario with prizes! Cost is $49.99. You can learn more on their website (https://stationretro.com).
  • Lucky Dice Cafe is hosting D&D Nolzur's Marvelous Miniatures Ogre Zombie Paint Night on Saturday afternoon (Oct 24th) at 3:00 pm. Each participant receives a kit with the miniature and paints for $20. You can learn more on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/events/3681986745158790).
  • On Sundays at 3:00 pm, you can also join the organized play program for Dungeons & Dragons, Adventurers League, at Lucky Dice Cafe. There is no cost to play, but space is very limited.
I also have the following bit of news to share:
  • JC's House of Cards is reopening in Madison! The exact date is still in the works, but somewhere around the end of the month/first of November.
  • Lucky Dice Cafe has organized a Kickstarter for Adventure Tomes, a Dungeons & Dragons adventure subscription box service. Many of the talented people involved are local. You can learn more on Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/luckydice/adventure-tomes-0).
That is it from me! Have a great week!

Kerry
