Possible Grass Roots Food Truck

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the group. I'm a mom in manhattan and we've been doing supply drops to the rockaways over the weekend at surf clyb.

I've been talking to a local food truck here who wants to come and make food for the day. He wants to do meat tacos and soup. I'd like to get some fresh fruit too. Maybe do a drive here to get flashlights too to give as well (or whatever else is needed...tacos and work gloves?) :-)

Wondering if anyone knows anyone who has a contact who might want to donate food supplies or get them cheap? And also how to coordinate placement? And any advice about doing this (crowd control, volunteers, other needs things to think about, etc etc.) Thank you!!
