I have been very busy over the last month or so trying to get the
Buffalo Wiki up to a level where we could leverage some participation
- a big task !!

My cancer surgery last year brought me to RocWiki during my recovery.
Unfortunately, the return of the cancer will take me away. I have
posted some info on my User Page http://rocwiki.org/Users/BradMandell.

I will probably come back from time to time to make some edits, etc
and to try and cleanup/finish up stuff I have left hanging.

I take great pride in the legacy I left behind on RocWiki and
appreciated the opportunity to contribute to the Rochester community.

I will keep my user page updated as things progress.

Keep up the good work.

Brad

PS: Wear sunscreen and hats - the sun is wonderful, but it can kill
you !!!

Brad-Aside from any of our personal interactions, I am truly sorry to hear the news of your cancer returning. We have cancer on oth sides of our family (both my wife's parents and my father). I have requested our church say prayers for you and your family and my wife and I are praying as well for some type of miracle for you to be healed. Realistically I am aware of the stats you've mentioned, but I am a believer in faith and I issue that healing faith towards you.

I HAVE NO TIME FOR ANY MORE INTERACTIONS WITH PETE.

I took a month+ sabbatical from RocWiki to help others and avoid such
annoyances, but my time has run out. I ask Pete to please hold off
and undo my work after I am gone.

=========
Message I left on PeteB's User page in response to his removing header
table condensing [[BR]]'s from a recent update to Royal Dynasty (as
well as a number of other pages while I was away):

2009-11-16 17:46:24 Keep making the entries bigger Pete and the
folks with Netbooks, etc will get tired of scrolling down and just
leave. Viewers are using smaller and smaller browsers and compact data
is the future. —BradMandell

Pete deleted this message from his User Page with a "touche" comment -
seems like discussions about facts have to resort to silly flair. —
BradMandell

Comment: The touche was aimed at a different person—not you, Brad. Yes
I deleted the comment but assuming the touche intended for you is
incorrect.

This is the Action to which the "touche" was attached;

http://rocwiki.org/Users/PeteB?action=diff&version2=129&version1=128

The change to which the comment applied was PeteB's removal of my
message from his User Page - NOTHING MORE NO ASSUMPTIONS NEEDED ONLY A
SIMPLE CONCLUSION

I assure you the touche comment has absolutely no involvement with you Brad. You have my word on that. Yes I deleted the comment on my page (it is my page), but Touche had absolutely nothing to do with you, man.

Thank you for deleting the BradMandell/PeteB page--I truly appreciate that.

I have been keeping RocWiki in my sights, passing out RocWiki cards
and promoting it wherever I go. I have been able to add a few pages
and do some edits from time to time, You may notice I have spent some
time in Medina (:>)

I am glad to see RocWiki has been active with a variety of users
chipping in.

I finished radiation at Pluta Cancer Center and am into my third week
of Chemo (by tablet at home). The nausea meds are keeping me in good
shape and things are going well. About third week of January I will go
in for a PET scan and see if the Chemo kept the Melanoma at bay for a
while.

I still need to do a bunch of wrap-up tasks on RocWiki but it will
likely wait until after the first of the year.

A Happy Holidays to All
