Hopefully its fixed, I manually approved. I think its just some sort of cc processing/response delay from wild apricot cc processor. I’ve never seen this on a member before

Jason,
I've added Sebastian and Milena to PItzone.
Matt....could you take a look at RASC database and see what is up there?
Thanks
Scott

This year, we will be registering our other two kids (Sebastian 14 and Milena 11) in addition to Nathan.
Please enter them into Pitzone.
I am unable to register any of them for the team because of the following message on the RASC website: "Event registration is not available for mei...@yahoo.com due to event settings." I paid for a family membership, but I still cannot get them registered.
Thank you,
Jason Meier

The time has come to register. We waited as long as we could to find out if the league would be racing this year because we know that is an important factor for some of you when considering whether or not to register. But we won't know until July 15th or so. That said, we are very excited to be opening registration.
Info you will need to know to help you make the decision to register. Below are the main points, but please see the league's return to practice document for details.
- We do not know if there will be racing this year and if there is, we don't know the format they will use. We don't know if it will just be high school or also include middle school. We do know it will not be like previous years. The league will not put 1500 people on a venue at the same time during a pandemic.
- We are restricted to practicing in groups of no more than 10 (8 students, 2 coaches...7 students, 2 coaches...6 students, 1 coach....5 students, 1 coach, etc). The groups will be as consistent as possible throughout the year. The reason for that is in case someone gets sick in a group, all who came in contact with that person will have to sit out for 14 days. If we move kids or coaches from group to group, when someone gets sick it means just that many more people will have to sit out for 14 days.
- Groups will be formed first by keeping family members together unless major differences in skill level exist. That means a skilled senior will not be riding with their 6th grade sibling.....a beginner coach may not be riding with their advanced level child. Second, we will do our best to group kids by similar riding ability.
- Groups will practice together twice per week, either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday. After groups are formed, there will be some leeway and adjustments possible for a group to switch the assigned days of the week to practice if the group members can agree to the move.
- We need to limit the number of riders at each venue. This means on a given day, we will likely have groups at both Gamehaven and Eastwood.
- Riders must maintain a distance of 6' from another person when receiving instruction. While riding, riders must maintain a distance of 20' between them and the rider in front of them.
- Masks are required during wheels-in instruction and not required while riding. The state of MN has designated bicycle riding to be in the safest category of organized activity.
- Kids and coaches are to perform a health screening checklist BEFORE going to practice. This includes taking their temperature and evaluating for COVID symptoms; fever or feeling feverish, chills, new cough, short of breath, new sniffles, new sore throat, new muscle aches, new headache, new loss of smell/taste. Members with symptoms need to stay home for 14 days. With kids, COVID symptoms may be slight or hard to notice. We ask that they not ride if anything other than perfect heath this year. Coaches will be asking each rider about the screening and will have the ability to send a rider home if signs are noticed.
- There is no sharing of water, nutrition or equipment. Riders (and coaches) must have their own water, snack, spare tube, pump and multi-tool. For some this will be a challenge. Every past year coaches regularly brought extra water bottles for kids that forgot or ran out. That cannot happen this year. With these temperatures....drink well before practice and bring plenty of water. If it is a new rider and there is worry that they won't know how to use the tools or change a tire even if they carry one, coaches can assist. We just have to carry and use hand sanitizer, mask and gloves to assist with that learning opportunity.
- No spitting or blowing a nose out while riding.
- Practice times will be staggered for groups to minimize large group interaction. Kids get ready at their vehicle (or remain distant if riding to practice) until their start time. Congregating, socializing in groups larger than 10 unfortunately can't happen this year. We understand this format may not be for everyone, but minimizing risk for infection safety is the prime concern this year.
- No decisions have been made about out of town adventure rides this year. Without the ability to carpool or use a bus, events like that become more challenging....especially when trying to keep kids with the same mid-week group once we get there.....and also considering coach availability.
- Because of the reduced practice days and expectation of equipment each rider needs to carry, this year's Rochester Mountain Bike Team fee will be $75. ($10 of that goes to RASC and $65 to the team)
- Loaner bikes and scholarships for team fees are available upon request.
- Registrations will be limited by available coach numbers. As of the writing of this email, the team has 14 coaches ready to practice, which would be close to the bare minimum needed to cover the groups with expected coach absences. 6 other coaches are in-progress with their training. A few more will make scheduling easier.
- A group assignment and practice schedule will be communicated by the middle of next week.
- No decision has been made if lettering in Mountain Biking can be offered this year or if it is, what the criteria for lettering will look like. There is just much unknown in this area.
* PLEASE REGISTER ASAP TO BE ASSURED OF GETTING A SPOT ON THE TEAM. If you are of the mindset that you want to wait until it is determined whether or not there will be races (July 15th) or whether or not lettering will be available, there is a small risk that registration will be closed if ridership exceeds coach availability requirements.
