Hey!

It’s been a number of years, but how do I locate route maps for road biking?

I used to ride with the RASC group back in 2010 and was able to access route maps. I know things have changed significantly - but was hoping to review routes as I plan to hit the road off and on, instead of doing the Douglas trail all the time.

Also, is there still a dog report anywhere? Or does that not exist anymore?

Thank you!
Missy

Hi Missy,

All of the ride routes are uploaded to Ride with GPS. If you’re still a RASC member you can get a free membership to Ride with GPS and view, download, follow the routes. If you’re not a member I believe you can search for all the routes still with the free version of Ride with GPS (or you can pay for a version with more features). There’s 775 routes in the RASC collection for road and gravel, some are for different areas people have ridden.

I’m not sure if there is an active dog map anymore, someone else might know.

The dog map is getting out of date. It had only one addition last season, and most of the reports are a number of years old.

(How many is that in dog years?)

It could be revived, but would require aging off the old entries and collecting current situations via advertising the submission form to local road and gravel riders.

Is there a need and interest?

Since I am doing much less gravel riding, perhaps someone from the Dirty Rascals would want to take it on?

Thanks.
