opportunity for action: Cycling Alliance table at Greentopia EcoDistrict launch, 7 October 12-5

Hi cycling enthusiasts—

Here’s an opportunity to get involved and take action supporting bikes as transportation. The Rochester Cycling Alliance is sponsoring a table at the launch celebrating Greentopia's EcoDistrict in Highland Falls. The launch will take place next Saturday, 7 October, 12-5 pm, and we need two volunteers at the table. As a volunteer, your job is just to socialize with people coming by and tell them about bikes as transportation and about the work of the Cycling Alliance. (We can help with talking points.) You can volunteer for all or part of the 12-5 shift.

PS—I recently took a business trip to Trondheim, Norway, and was blown away by the number of people biking there. Rochester could do it, too. Read more on the RCA website!
