Dear Bicycling Friend,

At some time you may have talked to me regarding becoming a LCI to teach bicycle safety classes or you suggested a friend's interest. I have attached information on becoming a LCI for you, or to share with your friends.

The Rochester Bicycling Club (RBC) and the New York Bicycling Coalition (NYBC) are joining forces to hold training here in Rochester. Traffic Safety 101 is being held on April 7 & 8, Friday (5 - 8 or 9PM) and Saturday (8AM -5PM). You will be evaluated after completing TS101 to determine if you will qualify for the LCI Seminar class (Friday - Sunday in May).

The program will accept up to 15 candidates. If the applicant cannot afford the LCI Seminar training tuition RBC has scholarship money to pay the tuition. RBC LCI committee will decide the awarding of scholarship in full or partial.

Please review the attached material and the LAB web site ASAP. Deadline is March 19.

I must have the application returned to me by March 19, 2017 to be considered for the program. We will then give you an online assignment prior to TS101 that will need to be completed before April 7, 2017.

Thanks for your interest and cooperation. Direct all questions to me at rds...@rochester.rr.com or call 585.461.5363h.

Happy Cycling,
