NYS leads the nation in combined bicycle/pedestrian crashes. The state DMV is updating their driver manual and they're looking for suggestions.
Let's get as many polite and insistent responses as possible that we need a bicycle question and a pedestrian question on the license exam.
NYS has a complete streets law requiring state, county & local agencies to consider the safety and convenience of all users when developing transportation projects.
