Hi cycling enthusiasts—

The next meeting of the Rochester Cycling Alliance will take place at 7:00 on this Thursday, October 19, in room 110 of Goergen Hall on the University of Rochester Campus. Here’s the action-packed agenda: 

1. Report on Whole Foods development and the Auburn Trail
2. NYBC 2017 Bike Summit in Albany
3. Reconnect Rochester & Rochester Cycling Alliance merger talks update
4. Tactical urbanism: plunger markers on bike lanes in Rochester
5. Slow Ride 2017 report and update 2018
6. League Cycling Instructor program 2018
7. Greentopia Eco-District launch

Hi everyone,

Late breaking news here - and an appeal to squeeze a few minutes into the "action packed agenda" tonight: Karen Rogers met with Carlos Cotto, RCSD Phys Ed coordinator today.  In short, he and RCSD asked Karen for am MOU for doing bicycle education as part of the RCDS phys ed program.  WOO!

Karen will need our backing in getting this done properly, so she would like to talk about her meeting sometime between 8:00 and 9:00 tonight, and to get our suggestions and feedback.  Can we accommodate her, please?
