Ever wondered what it takes to start paragliding? Join us for a FREE Paragliding Information
Session hosted by members of the Rochester Area Flyers (RAF). This session is perfect for
anyone curious about getting a PG rating, learning what equipment is needed, and
understanding what the sport is really like.
This is not a lesson or training session — It’s an informational overview designed to help you understand the pathway into the sport and how the RAF community supports new pilots.

• How to pursue PG lessons (local & out of area)
• Time commitment, weather windows, lifestyle fit, and how to stay current

• How RAF supports new pilots: mentoring program, reserve chute clinic, events, advice
• How to connect: WhatsApp groups, club communication channels, and opportunities to
watch or join the community on flying days
