Welcome to the RAF. Padgham is our training hill, and for training there is no requirement other than that an instructor must be present. If you are H1 or P1 you don't require an instructor but there should be someone with you in case you need help or assistance 😉

Correction. I just checked our website. You have to have a H2/P2 rating to fly Padgham and should not fly alone for safety reasons. If you have a H1 rating an instructor has to be present when you fly. We do not have any paragliding instructors so P1 pilots cannot use our training hill.
