So we have an opportunity to put together a brochure for the welcome centers for Hyner Club.  Specifically the Easton PA PennDOT welcome center on I-78 reached out to us.

I'm going to start working on it and might have needs for help from club members to wrap it up.  I've never got any brochures professionally made before.  I can do some writing and conceptual layout stuff then share that with you all.

Yesterday in talks with USHPA leadership about this we hashed out how to release this website which several people contributed to.  So it is now live  www.ushpa.org/fly check it out!

Also USHPA made us a QR codes to use on the brochure...that one would take a person to www.ushpa.org/fly.  The other one for Hyner club also...it would take a person to www.hynerclub.com

So this is a great opportunity to actually do some marketing for Hyner and hang gliding.

This whole www.ushpa.org/fly ...web address is pretty exciting to me because we have the national organization of USHPA backing the brand of hang gliding, and using this in our social media, videos,print brochures, business cards, etc ought to generate interest in hang gliding and I hope we get more new pilots in our clubs as a result.  If this process works well, I'd think it would be in order to duplicate the program for PG with a different url.

For now the www.ushpa.org/fly redirects traffic to www.soaringroadtrip.com/fly  this is hopefully going to get transferred over to USHPA's server some time in the future...at this time it is still a prototype that we are going to begin testing in a week or so.  This www.ushpa.org/fly is to educate a person enough and be motivational to fire up people to go get HG training.  I wish this resource existed when I started!

This is an opportunity for individual pilots like you and me to help grow hang gliding back to sustainable numbers using our social media and business cards etc to get people who show interest to go to www.ushpa.org/fly and get good info to get started on being a pilot.

It will be interesting to see how much impact a Hyner brochure in a busy welcome center has on driving traffic to our Hyner website and to USHPA's website.

I'll share more info on the roll out of www.ushpa.org/fly soon...maybe a week or so from now.  Info like a business card template, a USHPA e-newsletter on how to do the social media/video mentioning www.ushpa.org/fly etc.
