Flight Report, Padgham, Friday, June 21

Rob S, Karl L, and Bob S soared Padgham Hill this afternoon.  Climbing the hill after each flight was a chore in the heat, but we were rewarded with nice flights. On one flight Karl soared to approximately 100 feet above launch.

Good that you didn’t come down to Harris then.  We had one of the worst thunderstorms I’ve ever seen.  Overdeveloped starting around 3, then something blew in to trigger it.  Temps dropped about 15 degrees, wind gusts in the 50+ range.
